Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Numbers from the United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That's 13% growth over 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. "The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 outbreak that was in the news, we had record-breaking tourist entry numbers every month.  נווה פריצקי We are thrilled to witness this change and are expecting a steady upward trend for months, and possibly years.

Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to exceed the number of tourists visiting Israel by 7,200 tourists in the month of July 2022 and 6000 in August.

We're still not away from our record-setting numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this surge in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the world."

Israel received more than 4.6 million international tourists in 2019 including 969.600 coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all travelers, regardless whether they're vaccinated. It already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
