Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry From the United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four% increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was thrilling to witness the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019 he stated. "The United States has been our largest source of tourism for Israel inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we were celebrating record figures of the number of tourists entering Israel each month.

Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022, Canada received 7,200 visitors and August witnessed 6,600.

Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not far from our record 2019 and we are anticipating that the growth in travels to Israel will continue to grow because Canadians feel more confident about traveling abroad."

Israel has hosted more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019 of which 969,600 originated from the United States. Since May, when the country is now open to all tourists regardless of vaccination status More than 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
